Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s Health Improvement Teams have recently released their 2018 / 19 Annual Report.

Over 130 people attended Glasgow City HSCP’s Provider Event on 21 November at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The event was aimed at providers of social care services, registered managers, HSCP senior management and HSCP commissioning and locality staff. 

The Partnership’s Local Area Coordination Team has been promoting Chatter ‘n’ Natter as part of the wider campaign to end loneliness across Glasgow.

Families are being encouraged to plan for the future by obtaining Power of Attorneys (POA) to protect the wishes of relatives and friends in the event of illness or accidents.

Partnership staff had their achievements recognised at the Glasgow City HSCP Staff Awards for Excellence 2019 on 19 September. The Awards celebrate individual staff, teams and projects who have ‘gone the extra mile’ in their work in a number of categories. 

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership Staff in conjunction with Glasgow University, joined Councillor Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council on World Suicide Prevention Day, Tuesday 10 September 2019, to highlight Suicide Prevention work in Glasgow.

Staff from care homes across Glasgow came together in April to share their experience of participating in the Red Bag Scheme.

Pollok Civic Realm have been awarded the bronze level LGBT Charter Mark from LGBT Youth Scotland.

Staff, service users, carers, community representatives and others came together at a South Locality Engagement Session on 26th February to discuss developments in older people’s health and care services.  

Glasgow City HSCP (GCHSCP) North West Locality Engagement Forum (LEF) members, service users and representatives of the wider community met at Partick Burgh Hall on the 26 February 2019, to discuss the draft GCHSCP North West Locality Plan 2019/2020.
