Parkhead Hub’s first community networking event was declared a roaring success by staff and the public who attended the event on 22 May.

Special Alexa devices have proved to be a hit with both residents and staff in Orchard Grove and Meadowburn Care Homes.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care partnership (HSCP) runs five residential care homes, providing 24-hour assistance to people who are no longer able to live independently at home. Our HSCP also runs day care services and care at home services.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) now has a young person’s employability service within key HSCP services. Glasgow City Council (GCC) is the lead partner for this, and Council staff work closely with our HSCP’s Health Improvement staff.

The new state of the art Parkhead Hub will be opening to the public soon.

The new Parkhead Hub is due to be handed over by the contractors BAM in November, and a period of equipping and commissioning is being undertaken before opening to the public in early 2025.
