The prospect of a new £64.3 million state-of-the-art Health and Care Centre for the North East of Glasgow moved one step closer on Tuesday, 2 June. 

Teams across the council family have been working hard throughout lockdown to make sure that there are enough temporary furnished flats available for homeless households who need them.

The James McLean Project (JMP) provides accommodation and support to homeless young men and women aged 16 to 21. The team at the JMP in Barmulloch has launched an App, which will transform the way they communicate with their service users.

The new Woodside Health and Care Centre will open to patients, service users and visitors on Monday 1 July 2019.The new Centre will offer state of the art, modern facilities accommodating integrated health and social care services improving access and the co-ordination of care.
