South Locality Let's Talk About Mental Health Event
In the third of a series of South Glasgow locality engagement events staff, service users, carers, community representatives and others came together on 8th February to discuss developments in local mental health services.
Partnership Working A Success for Addiction Services
South Alcohol, Drugs and Recovery Service (ADRS) is an Integrated Community Addiction Team, where health and social care staff work together to provide addiction support to some of the most vulnerable and complex Service Users within the South of Glasgow.
The Shared Care Team within ADRS provide support to service users within GP surgeries across the South of Glasgow. The staff encourage participation in community based activities in order to promote a recovery pathway and exist strategies for Service Users.
New Clinic Opens at the Sandyford
Scotland's first clinic for victims of sexual violence is to open at the end of February in Glasgow. Experts said women who had experienced sexual violence often could not face going to the doctors for smear tests and other intimate examinations.The new clinic will also provide specialist medical care and support for victims.

To propose a schedule of meetings for the IJB Public Engagement Committee in 2018 to be held in each of the city’s localities, to outline potential agenda items for future meetings, and to ask Committee to discuss and agree further agenda items for future meetings.

The purpose of this report is to set out the proposed actions to deliver financial efficiencies within adult community learning disability services in 2017/18 and to inform of the further work that will take place in 2017/18 to scope the potential for further efficiency savings in future years.
