Welcome to our first Health and Social Care Integration newsletter which aims to keep you up to date with news and information about integration in Glasgow City. We plan to issue the newsletter on a monthly basis as part of our commitment to regular, clear communications with colleagues, key partners and stakeholders. We’ve been listening to your feedback on the kinds of things you want to hear about, and we hope you like the more convenient format and fresh new look. If you have any suggestions for how we can improve further, please tell us.

June 2017 - Special Edition on Homelessness

You can read about how the Homelessness Services Team, part of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership, has developed some new ways of working with partner agencies in the third sector to focus on better outcomes for the most vulnerable citizens with complex needs who find themselves homeless.

Briefing on GCHSCP and Glasgow City IJB Progress to Date

This briefing provides an overview of the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership and Glasgow City Integration Joint Board, and it highlights progress to date since the Integration Joint Board was constituted in February 2016.

Woodside Health and Care Centre Newsletter

On 6 July 2017 a major milestone in the construction of the new Woodside Health and Care Centre took place when the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing, Shona Robison MSP, cut the first sod at a special ceremony.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Annual Review 2016-17

This event is for Boards to be held accountable for their performance in delivering key Local Delivery Plan Standards throughout 2016/17. There will also be a focus on the progress the Board has and continues to make in delivering the Scottish Government's National 2020 Vision through progress towards delivering the three Quality Ambitions of Person Centred, Safe and Effective Healthcare, alongside a range of other commitments.

Integration Joint Board 26 April 2017

The media and public have a right to attend meetings to observe the proceedings, but may not participate in the meeting unless invited to do so by the Chair.

The IJB may exclude the media and public where publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted or other reason as determined by the IJB in relation to specific items.

Details of the issues to be discussed will be available on the following website, two weeks prior to the meeting.
