Parkhead Hub – December 2023 Update
Construction of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) new Parkhead Health and Social Care Hub at Salamanca Street, Parkhead is well underway.
The building is due to open in August 2024 and will bring together community health and social care services currently located at nine different sites. It will also include general practitioner services, community pharmacy and dental, community spaces including bookable rooms, a new library and a café.
Parkhead Hub: Consultation and Engagement
A public consultation on the Hub formally closed on 10 September 2020. Information is on the archive site parkheadhub.scot.
Progress with the Hub is reported into the Local Engagement Forum events. Related documents, news articles and photos can be found on Glasgow City HSCP’s website.

Parkhead Hub Spring Update - Arts Strategy and Community Benefits
Bespoke Atelier, a design company based in Bridgeton, recently won a two -stage competition to create new artworks for the entrance and children’s area of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) new Parkhead Health and Social Care Hub.
For the entrance area, they'll create a large scale illuminated wall panel that will welcome visitors on arrival to the Hub. The design will celebrate the rich textile and weaving heritage of the local area whilst reflecting the scale and ambition of the new Parkhead Hub itself.
