Food for Good in Govan
Many people are struggling to access food through absolutely no fault of their own, and this has increased during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) South Locality Health Improvement Team has been a key partner in supporting Govan as a ‘Thriving Place’, leading on the co-ordination of food work through the Food for Good group. This group brings many local organisations and community members together to work to achieve better access to food for people living in the Govan area.
Home Carers Give Betty a Birthday Surprise
Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) home carers gave service user Betty a birthday surprise by decorating her living room with balloons and banners to help celebrate her 90th birthday.
Home carer Gill Malley said: “We all enjoy caring for Betty. She is so outgoing and lively, you wouldn’t believe she was 90!
Refugee Week Highlights Film and Resource Pack
Refugee Week runs from 14 to 20 June this year with the theme ‘We Cannot Walk Alone'. As part of services to support Glasgow’s refugee and asylum seekers communities, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) South Locality Health Improvement Team has been working with Govan Community Project (GCP) to promote the film and resource pack ‘We Journey Together’.

Item No 07 - Outturn Report 2020-21
To provide a high level overview of the Integration Joint Board’s draft outturn position for 2020/21, and to seek approval for the transfer of funds to reserves to allow completion of the Integration Joint Board’s accounts by the statutory deadline of 30 November 2021.
Item No 09 - Justice Social Work Recovery Planning Proposals
To update the Integration Joint Board on the additional Scottish Government grant award received by justice social work to support COVID-19 recovery work.
To seek approval for the remaining spend as detailed in the report.
Item No 10 - Mental Health Recovery and Renewal Programme
The purpose of this paper is to set out phase 1 of the proposals for improving Mental Health services and preventing poor Mental Health to meet the conditions set out by Scottish Government in their letters to Chief Executives and Chief Officers dated 24th March 2021 and 5th May 2021 (Appendix 1 and 2). The paper also seeks approval to delegate authority to the Chief Officer, Chair and Vice Chair of the IJB to agree a programme of work to utilize the Scottish Government funding allocation.
