The purpose of this report is to update the IJB on a one year National Care Home Contract (NCHC) settlement for 2020/21 and the commitments within the contract in relation to the Living Wage and Agenda for Change band 5.

PPE Distribution Hub
The Scottish Government, with the support of NHS National Service Scotland (NSS) has established Social Care Hubs within each Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) across Scotland, for the allocation of PPE stock to Social Care Providers. This covers care homes; care at home providers; unpaid carers; personal assistants; sheltered housing services; supported housing; housing support; children’s homes and hospices, and all HSCP Social Work Services.
We have now set up a distribution hub from which the following can access stock of PPE:

Care Home Staff Throw Birthday Party for 107 Year Old Ellen
Lockdown didn't stop one of Scotland's oldest women celebrating her 107th birthday at a Glasgow care home on 14 May.
Ellen Gardner has lived through two World Wars and the 1920s Spanish Flu outbreak, so she wasn't going to let the current Coronavirus pandemic spoil her celebrations.
Partnership Working is Helping to House the City’s Homeless
Teams across the council family have been working hard throughout lockdown to make sure that there are enough temporary furnished flats available for homeless households who need them. This is a key priority for the Homeless Services team at the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP).
Thanking our Volunteers during Volunteers Week 1 - 7 June 2020
National Volunteers’ Week takes place from 1-7 June every year and is a celebration across the UK of all the contributions volunteers make to their community.
Glasgow City HSCP has a range of volunteers working across its services from Youth Heath, Health Improvement, Alcohol and Drugs, Residential Care and Mental Health. We would like to thank them for all their invaluable and diverse dedicated efforts in supporting the services we provide.
