The purpose of this report is to confirm the appointment of the Chief Officer to the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (IJB).
Item No 16 - Older Peoples Day Care Services - Internal Strategic Review
To advise the IJB of the findings and recommendations of an internally conducted Strategic Review of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (GCHSCP) directly provided Older People’s Day Care Services, and seek approval for the test of change proposal, including subsequent public consultation and equalities impact assessment.
Item No 17 - GCHSCP Equality Outcomes 2024–2028 and Equality Outcome Mainstreaming & Progress Report 2024
This report presents three parts of the Integration Joint Board’s (IJB) equality duties:
•New Equality Outcomes for 2024 to 2028.
•Reporting of mainstreaming of the equality duty.
•Progress towards the Equality Outcomes for 2022 to2024.
Item No 15 - Review of Private Sector Adaptation Policy - Opt out of Assisted Living
The purpose of this report is to update the IJB on the review undertaken of Private Sector Adaptations and agree actions from that review, that will enable service users within private sector housing, further choice of providers for adaptations.
Item No 14 - Social Care Planned Procurement 2024-25 and Commissioning Development Plan
To update the IJB on the planned procurement for social care services for financial year 2024/25, and to update on the progress of the commissioning development plan and planned development actions for 2024/25.
Item No 13 - Whole Family Support through General Practice
The purpose of this report is to update the Integration Joint Board on the offer of additional funding for a whole family support and well-being though primary care pilot, and to request approval of the expenditure.
Item No 18 - NHSGG&C Primary Care Strategy and Implementation Plan
The purpose of the report is to update the Integration Joint Board on the development and implementation of the NHSGGC Primary Care Strategy and share the Strategy and Implementation plan for noting.
Item No 21 - Glasgow City IJB Future Agenda Items
NHSGGC launches community food project at Glasgow hospital
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) has begun planting crops for a new community food project, and they hope to have the first harvest before winter sets in.
The project has been a number of months in the making, and earlier this week a group of staff, volunteers and external contractors came together at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership's Stobhill Hospital Mental Health Campus to work on a resource that will benefit patients but will also help people living in surrounding communities.
