Our HSCP’s older people's mental health wards have been praised by the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland (MWCS) for their high quality care and high standard of care planning.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) new Parkhead Hub opened in a phased approach on Monday 27 January 2025. The Hub integrates health and social care services and community facilities, including a café and the relocated Parkhead Library.

During 2024, the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) Mental Health Improvement Team, hosted by Glasgow City HSCP, has been working with three further and higher education institutions in Glasgow.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) new Parkhead Hub building was completed in November, and the process of getting the building ready for staff and the public is well underway.

The Aye Mind website is designed to support those working with young people, to build their understanding of the online environment and how it impacts children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The new state of the art Parkhead Hub will be opening to the public soon.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) has begun planting crops for a new community food project, and they hope to have the first harvest before winter sets in.

The new Parkhead Hub is due to be handed over by the contractors BAM in November, and a period of equipping and commissioning is being undertaken before opening to the public in early 2025.
