Staff at Balmore Ward Donate Christmas Presents to Women’s Aid
Generous Glasgow City HSCP staff working in Balmore Ward at Leverndale Hospital decided this year to forego the usual staff tradition of giving presents to each other by Secret Santa and instead donated their presents to the women and children being supported by Renfrewshire Women’s Aid.

Glasgow's Winter Night Shelter now open with a change of name and a new location.
Now known as the Overnight Welcome Centre, the emergency accommodation for people at risk of rough sleeping in winter will be provided in a Glasgow hotel, rather than in Lodging Housing Mission in East Campbell Street.

A new short film launched by the Gender Friendly Nursery programme aims to promote awareness of the impact of gender stereotypes on what children believe they can and can’t do, how they should dress and behave, and what society expects of them.
Green Fingered Staff and Service Users
Staff and service users at the Glasgow City HSCP Chara Centre in Possilpark have been using the good weather during lockdown to maintain the centre’s garden.
The social work centre provides emergency homeless accommodation for 27 females from all walks of life and cultures.
