Staff from carers organisations in Glasgow and Catalonia recently shared their experiences and highlighted the importance of support for unpaid carers.

People with learning disabilities who have spent years in hospital are set to enjoy new lives in the community thanks to Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).

Hundreds of unpaid carers in Glasgow have been helped to draw up emergency plans in case they get ill and are unable to look after their loved ones.

Glasgow City Council, as part of the city's Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), is creating around 200 new posts to cover vital home care, residential care and day care responsibilities.
